Getting new Followers again on my blog?

I've had my blog for a very long time since about 2005 or so. I had a really good following and due to life circumstances I was unable to blog for a few years (some of which I was unable to craft) I'm back and crafting a lot now and posting a lot of cards and having no comments (I have most of my following on Instagram now which I love)

Is there a way to increase blog followers and comments again or should I just give up on my blog and focus on my Instagram? I have been posting for months on my blog again and not one comment so I'm unsure if it's just me or if blogging is not as active of a community as it was back in 2005 when I started?

before I give up on it completely I wanted to see what others think I may be doing wrong or can do to help increase traffic. I do post on Pinterest but link my posts to my Instagram and not my blog so not sure if that is something I should be doing instead as well?
